OEB Conference 2018 Berlin – EADL Workshop

On Wednesday at the OEB Conference in Berlin, Germany The EADL together with Forum DistancE-Learning of Germany held a joint pre-conference workshop.

The session commenced with a video message by Helga Trüpel, Member of the European Parliament, Vice Chair of the Committee for Culture and Education.

The first presentation was by Birger Tralau of Forum DistancE-Learning (FDL) and was titled Many New Concepts, a Lot of Confusion, Some Buzzwords and Their Definitions.

Next up was Anja C. Wagner from FrolleinFlow who asked: “Do Adults Really Need Data-supported Recommendation Systems?”

Finally, we heard from Andras Szücs, European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN) who presented on “What’s ahead by 2020?
”

We received some fascinating debate from the audience and the panel which included EADL President, John Trasler and Chair of the R&D Committee Jens Greefe.
